ANAMBRA PROGRESSIVES HOLD OPENING SESSION IN ISTANBUL, TURKEY

~ Constitutes Working Committees to discuss Proposed Actions Plans For the Anambra Progressives 20 years Developmental Roadmap.

Anambra Progressives Development Union has kicked off their maiden International Summit with an opening session to constitute working Committees that will be saddled with the task of drawing up the “Anambra Progressives 20 Year Development Plan.

The vision is for Anambra to be a leading investment destination with abundant economic opportunities, social inclusion, peace, security, improved quality of Education and life of its citizenry.

The Anambra Progressives Development Roadmap is therefore a reflection of the quest by Anambra Progressives Forum to reposition Anambra state for greater heights as the Light of the Nation, with a strategic framework to realise a shared vision of Economic prosperity. 

This plan will serve as a blueprint of strategies and actions that are planned to achieve the developmental aspirations of the state which will be driven by a strong collective will, stakeholders’ participation, and strategic implementation mechanisms.

During the session, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah specially thanked the Chairman, Anambra Progressives Diaspora Forum; Barr. Peter Nwosu, Mrs. Uju Emechebe (Chicago), Lady Ruby Nnadi (Atlanta), Lady Ngozi Anosike (New Jersey) and other prominent Diaspora members of the Anambra Progressives Forum who foot their bills to attend the Summit.

Conclusively, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Ubah beckoned on members of the Anambra Progressives Development Union to rally round and join him in triggering massive transformational and economic change in the fortunes of the state.

Valentine Ozigbo Resigns from Labour Party

In a shocking move, against all speculations over the last few days, Valentine Ozigbo, a close ally of Peter Obi, has announced his resignation from the Labour Party (LP). Ozigbo confirmed his decision to Diaspora Digital Media on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, but declined to provide further details, opting instead to share his reasons during an interactive session on X (Twitter) Space.  The session, scheduled for 8 PM, will feature Ozigbo in conversation with Anambra's First Son, @uchepokoye, discussing pressing issues affecting Anambra State, including security challenges, societal fabric collapse, and the hope for a better future.
