Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo Meets With Anambra's Elders Forum.

- _Says all hands must be on deck to save Anambra._

The leading Gubernatorial aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming November 6, gubernatorial election Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo, today, May 8, 2021, met with the ANAMBRA ELDERS FORUM at Onitsha to seek support for his candidacy as the APC primary approaches.

Speaking during the interactive session, Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo stated that it's time to get it right in Anambra state for the future of our children and everyone else in the state.

" The time is fast running out to rescue our state Anambra and enthrone a God fearing and people oriented government in Anambra state. We must make use of this window of opportunity presented by the Anambra election scheduled to hold on November 6 to get our state back on the path of progress. Only a man who has the fear of God can have the mindset to create a just society where the rule of law, social justice and equity is guaranteed and once we get this, sanity will return to our state alongside development. I have been one of Nigeria's highest employer of labour for the past 25 years and I know what it's to create an enabling environment for businesses" he stated.

Further speaking, he sought the support of the Elders Forum stating that as elders that they must stand to be counted by speaking up and influencing people within their areas of influence to support his aspirations in other to make A New Anambra Possible.

Responding, the chairman of the Elders forum, Bengoodman, stated that Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo is a man whose antecedent precedes him and his hard work during his time as a trader at Onitsha was remarkable and visible and the social injustices he fought to ensure that all traders at Onitsha had equal right is one reason many became millionaires at Onitsha. He further added that the group has no alternative but to keep supporting him as he is different from the crowd and is only seeking to lead so that others can have a feel of what a good and functional Anambra is.

The DG, Chido Campaign, Barr. Ejike Nwachukwu, further asked the Elders Forum not to abandon their own but to work hard to ensure that he triumphs during the primaries. He urged them to do everything humanly and legally possible to ensure that Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo wins the primary in their communities and local government.

The Anambra Elders forum is an agglomeration of Businessmen and residents of Onitsha city cutting across all local government and towns in Anambra state and others from other States in the South East.
