Ifeanyi Ubah kicks off Declaration & Thank You Tour in Nnewi North

~ As Non Indigenes pledge to support his aspiration to govern Anambra

Senator Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, the Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District yesterday officially declared his intention to run for the November 6th gubernatorial election in Anambra state under the platform of Young Progressives Party (YPP) at his home town Nnewi North with a mammoth crowd numbering over 300,000. The event which took place at St Andrews Anglican Church DCC Nnewi North saw in attendance the creme le creme of Young Progressives Party (YPP) with the national leadership of the party in attendance.

While declaring his intention to become the next governor of Anambra state, Senator Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah thanked Ndi Anambra & Ndi Nnewi his home town for the support they have given this far and prayed that he will not fail in the responsibility of ensuring that he brings to an end the long bad leadership style that has always drawn Anambra state backwards.

Senator Ubah further stated that he is bringing to Anambra state, that, which he has done at the national level which has enabled Nigeria to rake in over #750b annually from exploration and production companies in the oil & gas sector of the Nigerian economy. He said that at the right time that he will unveil his practical and juicy package which he has for Ndi Anambra.

In the same vein, the leader of the hausa community in Anambra South Senatorial District, Suleiman Sani with over 5000 members thanked Senator Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah for what he has done so far in impacting positively on his people in Anambra state. He said " I have lived in Nnewi North for over 30 years, I have never seen a personality like Senator Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, who has always fulfilled the promises to the people. I am a witness" Sani further stressed that the hausa community in Anambra South are geared towards ensuring that a personality like him is given the mantle of leadership in the state.

Highlights of the event was the distribution of gift items won by Authority FM radio callers, which ranged from Plasma TVs, washing machines, deep freezers, Fans, Microwave ovens etc. While Uwaezuoke and Eugene De Coque and Uwaezuoke entertained the crowd.
