DR CHUKWUEMEKA NWAJIUBA IN THE EYES OF OKIGWE PEOPLE

Dr Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba is an enigma personified. Dr Chuba Okadigbo used to call him " the Original Philosopher King" back in the days when he held sway as the most visible, young Igbo House of Reps legislator between 1999 - 2003 during which time he emerged the Guardian Newspaper National Legislator of the year 2001/2002.

The Okigwe South Federal Constituency and indeed the entire Okigwe had a good returns on its democratic investments for sponsoring such a firebrand egghead to the House of Representatives . Being the strongest voice in the House then, Ghali Umar N'abba made him the highly coveted House Committee Chairman on Works which enabled him see to the prompt rehabilitation of the then inpassable Anara - Oriagu - Umuahia highway among several others.

For most Okigwe and Imo elites, the greatest achievement of this quintessential silent achiever is human capital development. No Okigwe politician, living or dead can equate him when it comes to brokering federal jobs/appointments/contracts for our people. This dude has made hundreds of our people lecturers and non academic staff in several universities/politechnics across Nigeria. A visit to most of the newly founded universities drives this fact home. For instance, the new Federal University in Ndufu-Alike Ebonyi State is an Okigwe kparakpo institution in terms of employment, contracts and admissions. The list goes on and on...

This does not suffice that Dr Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba is a nepotistic leader. He has equally developed human capital and made men all over Nigeria. Hence the more reason why Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba is a National Brand most suitable for the 2023 Nigeria President of Igbo extraction!

Indeed Igbo needs to put it's best foot forward for the 2023 presidency. We need astute men that are saleable across Nigeria. I mean CLEAN MEN without baggages of corruption cases and ugly references of having looted Government coffers in their former public office positions.

Okigwe is indeed blessed to have an astute and nationally acceptable Philosopher King such as Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba.

Okigwe sons and daughters can stand tall anywhere in Nigeria today and beat there chest that Nwajiuba is a rare breed presidential material who has all it takes to change the narratives and bequeath Nigeria with a transformed 21st resilient economy that will be the pride of Black Africa.Yes he can. He is an intellectual power house with criss crossing lines of competencies in digital economy, new open economy governance, development planning and legal environment of business etc.
