26th FCTD Joint Convocation: Nwajiuba Commend Advancement in Technical Education

 


~ Task graduands to imbibe Technical Education For National Development


The Honorable minister of state for education, Hon. Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba has commended the Advancement in Technical Education, as expoused by Federal College of Education (Technical), Umunze Anambra State in the teaching Technical skills for the advancement of Technology in the country.


He made this assertion during the 26th Joint Convocation ceremony of the institution which was held on the 26th of March 2021.


The Honorable Minister, further commended the Provost, Dr. Tessy  Okoli for her doggedness and innovation, which has brought to bear the  leadership style that has generated positive results towards the development of the college.


The minister further implored the students and graduands to play their part in nation building by contributing their knowledge and skills learnt over the years, while tasking the graduands to imbibe Technical Education For National Development, which the institution has inculcated in them, which is to impart positive knowledge on students of basic and secondary schools in the country wherever they find themselves in. 


In her remarks, the Provost of the college Dr. Tessy  Okoli, thanked the minister for finding time out of his busy schedule to grace the 26th convocation ceremony of the institution. She stated that the institution over the years have churned out notable graduands who have contributed immensely to national development and promised that they will continue in the same vein. BREAKING: 2Baba Shot Dead In Rivers State

A notorious cult leader and the prime suspect in the brutal murder of the late Divisional Police Officer, SP Bako Angbashim, in the state, Gift Okpara, popularly referred to as 2Baba, has been reportedly killed in a police-led major security raid. Prominent Leaders Pay Tribute to Late Sen Ifeanyi Ubah, at Anambra Community Candlelight Procession in Awka
