VALENTINE OZIGBO, WELCOMES OLISA METUH TO ANAMBRA.

 


........ ASK FOR MORE COLLABORATION TO SUSTAIN UNITY IN PDP


Valentine Ozigbo, a frontline, aspirant under the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in rhe the upcoming November 6th governorship election in Anambra, on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, joined other members of PDP family in Anambra State to welcome the former National Publicity Secretary of the party, Chief Olisa Metuh as he arrived Anambra State. 


While speaking to journalists at the reception held at the Anambra State secretariat in Udoka Estate, Awka, Mr Ozigbo expressed happiness for having Chief Metuh back to Anambra. He described him as a great asset to the PDP in Anambra state. 


“I’m excited that we have this kind of event where we have gathered to celebrate and not to mourn. At some point, one of our leaders in the PDP, Chief Metuh was in captivity and was unhealthy. Today, he is free and looking very fit to carry along with his various activities"


“Now, it’s time for him to bring to bear his experiences at all levels of the PDP, especially as we gear up for the 2021 governorship election in Anambra State. 


“I am however excited to have someone with the calibre of Chief Metuh out and fully prepared to help us launch a new dawn in Anambra State,” Mr Ozigbo added. 


Other PDP stalwarts who welcomed the Chief Metuh include Chief Okey Muo Aroh (Ike Abatete), a member of the National Executive Committee; Chief Ndubuisi Nwobu, the PDP Chairman in Anambra State, members of the Anambra State PDP executive, local government leaders, and hundreds of party members.

BREAKING: 2Baba Shot Dead In Rivers State

A notorious cult leader and the prime suspect in the brutal murder of the late Divisional Police Officer, SP Bako Angbashim, in the state, Gift Okpara, popularly referred to as 2Baba, has been reportedly killed in a police-led major security raid. The police and other security agencies were said to have conducted land and aerial raids at the identical hideout of the Iceland cult leader and his gang at Idu-Ekpeye in Ahoada East local government area of Rivers on Saturday, February 17. According to  The Nation , the Iceland cult leader was reportedly feared dead after the operation.   Recall that in September 2023, the late DPO was ambushed and captured by the cult group led by 2Baba in the Odiemudie community, Ahoada East LGA.   2Baba and his gang then took the DPO to the forest, where they killed him and dismembered his body. The cultists then filmed him. Another source, Obi, said he saw no less than 15 vehicles and an Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) during the operation.  

Prominent Leaders Pay Tribute to Late Sen Ifeanyi Ubah, at Anambra Community Candlelight Procession in Awka
