New Service Chiefs Will End Boko Haram, Bandits & Other Security Challenges - Young Nigerian Voices.


The Young Nigerian Voices Initiative has commended President Muhammadu Buhari on the appointment of new Service Chiefs.


The President on Tuesday, 26th January, 2021 appointed Major General Ibrahim Attahiru, Air Vice Marshall Isiaka Amao, Rear Admiral Auwal Gambo, as Chief of Army StaffC Chiefof Air Staff, Chief of Naval Staff respectively and Major General Lucky Irabor as the Chief of Defence Staff while reiterating his resolve and determination to totally annihilate insurgency, banditry and terrorism.


In a reaction to the development, the Young Nigerian Voices Initiative (YNVI) a national youth group comprising of professionals and patriotic Nigerian youths across the 36 States and Abuja, threw its weight behind the new development and called on all Nigerians to give the New Service Chiefs the needed  maximum support to end the terror ravaging the country, occasioned by armed banditry, kidnapping, cattle rustling etc. 


National Coordinator of the group, Alhaji Ibrahim Bature in a brief interaction with newsmen said, that Nigeria presently deserves a good security apparatus and intelligence to help end the terror ravaging Nigeria. He stressed that the new service chiefs should as a matter of urgency provide the necessary weapons, tactics and morale needed to nip terrorism in the bud.


He was however positive that the new service chiefs will end Boko Haram, banditry and other security challenges in the country with the support of Nigerians. He went further to commend the President on the appointments and tasked the new service chiefs to see there new task as a call to service. In his words" President Buhari has shown again that he is a man of integrity by admitting that the country is in a state of emergency. He didn't stop at that, he did the needful to address it.  the rejig in the army would take the battle to the terrorists " he concluded.


Adding his voice, the Zonal Coordinator of Young Nigerian Voices in the South East, Prince Collins Enwere, congratulated the new service chiefs and tasked them to live up to the expectations of Nigerians, who are praying for their success.


He further commended President Muhammad Buhari for being a leader whose interest is for the geniune development of the country, going by the giant strides in infrastructural development in the country since 2015.


The 6 zonal coordinators of  the group unanimous promised to help educate youths in their various zones on the need to always give peace a chance

BREAKING: 2Baba Shot Dead In Rivers State

A notorious cult leader and the prime suspect in the brutal murder of the late Divisional Police Officer, SP Bako Angbashim, in the state, Gift Okpara, popularly referred to as 2Baba, has been reportedly killed in a police-led major security raid.
