Ifeanyi Ubah Restates Commitment To Always Support The Oil Sector, Commends The ^Aku luo Uno^ Spirit In Chief Kennedy As He Visits New VCH Petrol Station


The Senator representing Anambra South and Vice-Chairman of Senate Committee on Petroleum (Upstream), Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah on Thursday, reiterated his commitment towards supporting the Nigerian Oil Sector. Speaking shortly during a brief visit to the new VCH petrol station at Nkpor, the Senator who was accompanied by a member of Anambra Progressives  and the Founder of Ejison Group of Companies, Chief Joseph I. Ukeji, commended the Chief Executive Officer of the new petrol station, Chief Kennedy Okonkwo for providing the facility which will go a long way in boosting the economy.of the State.



He further maintained that the facility will not only provide additional employement but will also ease congestions at petrol stations and make petrol more accessible to the people.


Senator Ubah however, vowed that he will consolidate his efforts towards supporting the oil sector by sponsoring more Bills that will promote the sector. He also assured the people, that as a stakeholder in the oil sector, he will always utilize his experience properly and give quality contributions to policies that will promote the interests of the sector.


The Anambra South Senator who is also the National Leader of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) is the sponsor of Petroleum Tankers Safety Bill. The Bill which seeks to make consequential provisions towards safe transportation of petroleum products across the country has scaled through second reading.
