2023: YOUNG NIGERIAN VOICES PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO HON CHUKWUEMEKA NWAJIUBA, ASK APC TO CONSIDER IGBO'S IN THEIR ZONING ARRANGEMENTS.
- Insists the South East should produce next President.
The Young Nigerian Voices, (YNV) a conglomeration of Nigerian youths, led by Alhaji Ibrahim Bature, has paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, the Minister of state for Education, in support of his bid to run for the number one position in Nigeria come 2023. The visit was in solidarity of his bid to contest for the Presidency come 2023 on the platform of the APC.
In his opening remarks, the leader of the group,Alhaji Ibrahim Bature thanked the Minister for giving his group the audience to interact with him towards building a better Nigeria, where the youths can have their say, and also participate in governance of the country. He said that, his group as the name goes, is the majority of Nigerian youths, whose desire is for a better Nigeria.
He commended the Minister for his salient leadership qualities in TEF and in the ministry of education, which has witnessed so much intervention in bridging the gap of giving more Nigerians access to quality education in the country.
In the same vein the Deputy National Coordinator of the group, Engr. Emmanuel Buchees, however stated that Hon. Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba by his antecedents towers above others who are coming out for the number position, because till date he has never been invited to answer for any charges of misappropriation of funds which out weighs others who are also contemplating to run for the plum job come 2023.
He further harped on the need for APC, to close ranks towards ensuring that the presidency is zoned to the South East come 2023, this he said will help balance the power equation in the country for the sake of equity, fairness and justice, which will help calm the agitation all over the country for a Nigerian President
of Igbo extraction.
In his reaction, the Minister of state for education,thanked the group for the courtesy visit. He said he was overwhelmed by the solidarity shown him by Nigerian youths and recounted how his colleagues at the National assembly alinged him with the concept of ancient and modern, because of his closeness and accessibility by both the young and old in the country.
He however maintained that no country can move forward without the youths and promised to work with the youths of Nigeria because he is part of them.
He however tasked the youths to ensure they get the National Identification number (NIN), which will help government plan for it's citizens Nationwide. He commended the Buhari administration for the many policies which are geared towards making Nigeria work and called on the youths to support the vision of a better Nigeria.
