Senator Ifeanyi Ubah celebrate with Ọhaneze VP as he gives out daughter in marriage

The Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District and National Leader of the Young Progressives Party (YPP), Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah was in Oraukwu yesterday to celebrate with the Vice-President General of Ọhaneze Ndị Igbo Worldwide, Chief Charles Odunukwe popularly known as Chardon who gave out his daughter in marriage. In his remarks at the traditional marriage ceremony which took place at Chief Odunukwe's home at Ibenabo village of Oraukwu in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State, the YPP National Leader prayed God to grant the new couple a happy and peaceful home. He also asked God to grant them more wisdom and understanding as they move into the big stage of life.

Responding, Chief Odunukwe thanked the Senator and other attendees for honoring his invitation. He also prayed God to grant the new couple abundant wisdom and a peaceful home.

Other dignitaries at the massively attended event yesterday include the Managing Director of National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) Chief George Muoghalu, Chief Executive Officer of Chelsea Group Limited, Chief Patrick Chidolue, Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party in the 2019 Anambra South Senatorial Election, Chief Chris Uba , Traditional Rulers and Several others.

BREAKING: 2Baba Shot Dead In Rivers State

A notorious cult leader and the prime suspect in the brutal murder of the late Divisional Police Officer, SP Bako Angbashim, in the state, Gift Okpara, popularly referred to as 2Baba, has been reportedly killed in a police-led major security raid. The police and other security agencies were said to have conducted land and aerial raids at the identical hideout of the Iceland cult leader and his gang at Idu-Ekpeye in Ahoada East local government area of Rivers on Saturday, February 17. According to The Nation , the Iceland cult leader was reportedly feared dead after the operation. Recall that in September 2023, the late DPO was ambushed and captured by the cult group led by 2Baba in the Odiemudie community, Ahoada East LGA. 2Baba and his gang then took the DPO to the forest, where they killed him and dismembered his body. The cultists then filmed him. Another source, Obi, said he saw no less than 15 vehicles and an Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) during the operation.

After the mass, the reception which was at Munic Classic Hotel where all dignitaries were entertained, Amb Charles Nwonye stayed briefly and left to visit and consult with the Umuada Anaedo Forum women at Obi Okpunoegbu to present his political ambition to the women.
