It is often said that SPORTS has an inherent ability to bring people together, particularly  the youths, and yet until recently, the tremendous potential of sports in achieving youth developmental  objectives has been grossly under utilized. 

*By its very nature, sports encourages participation bridging National, Ethnic, Social and Religious Divides* 

It is precisely for this reason that sports , when used as a tool for development, can serve as an impetus for social transformation and change!

*It is this vision that shaped the  mindset of  Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah and spurred him on to venture into sports development which he believes will help curb many societal  vices among the youth population of Anambra State and beyond*

This dream that gave rise to what today is a World Class Stadium  a.k.a the #fortress the home ground of  our darling team the FC Ifeanyi Ubah football club, nicknamed the  Anambra warriors all single handedly brought into existence with  the personal resources of the  Distinguished Senator

The Anambra warriors has since gone ahead to bring joy ,smiles and laughter on the faces of Ndi Anambra who has sinced turned the stadium into a designated event centre  for convergence of both the young and old every match day 

*You need to visit the stadium on a match day to have a feel of the atmosphere which is best experienced than described*

*Where a thunderous sea  of voices of Ndi Anambra in unison chorus the anthem as follows ....

We are great, 

we are born winners. 

Shining bright like a star.

 The gift of God to Africa,

 United we stand, hand in hand, 

Brringing glory to our land.

I still have that nostalgic feeling of being a proud Anambra son whenever i recall my  personal experiences there standing with one hand on  the chest , legs akimbo and head held high 

This same  Stadium despite the fact that the various components like the fivestar hotel , conference center ,VIP  lounges etc are not yet ready has gone ahead to provide employments for hundreds of Ndi Anambra  who are engaged to provide  one service or the other while the football club through its academy has been absorbing our young  and budding talents and assisting them to fully explore their capabilities

*Little wonder the name  Ifeanyi Ubah reverbrates in all the nooks and crannies of the state and  the youths love him so much*

And yet this is just one of his numerous investments in Anambra ! 

As the Guber polls draws near ,   when they come to tell you stories of their PHD and Doctorates in Dubai Taiwan, pls ask them this very  vital questions 

Who you help ? 

Where are your investments in Anambra ?

BREAKING: 2Baba Shot Dead In Rivers State

A notorious cult leader and the prime suspect in the brutal murder of the late Divisional Police Officer, SP Bako Angbashim, in the state, Gift Okpara, popularly referred to as 2Baba, has been reportedly killed in a police-led major security raid. Prominent Leaders Pay Tribute to Late Sen Ifeanyi Ubah, at Anambra Community Candlelight Procession in Awka

Hundreds of mourners, friends, well-wishers, media representatives, and party faithful gathered are presently at Emmaus House in Awka for a candlelight procession to honor the late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah.  Chief Egwuonwu in his speech expressed his deep grief over the loss of his friend and brother, Senator Ubah, saying it's hard to find words to convey his emotions.
