Covid19 Lockdown: Dr Cletus Ibeto doles out palliatives to Ndi Nnewi.

Peace and Progressive Association Nnewi (Aka Ibeto Chambers) a non governmental organization has through its grand patron Dr Cletus Madubugwu Ibeto(CON) has doled out 1000 bags of rice to Nnewi community to help cushion the effects of the lockdown in the area.

The National President of the association Hon Prince Jude Osumouh, while distributing the palliatives, at the palace of Igwe Nnewi, HRH, Igwe K.O.N Orizu (OON) thanked the grand patron of the association Dr Cletus Madubugwu Ibeto for his good gesture in remembering his people at this hard times. He prayed that God will continue to enrich him in all spheres of his life, and give him the grace to do more. He said that the modalities, at which the 1000 bags of Rice was shared is 250 bags to each to Otolo, Uruagu, Umudim and Nnewichi quarters because of the large number of people that came out for the palliatives.

While speaking with Nigerian Notch, Founder of the association, Hon. Anaebue, said that Peace and Progressive association is a non governmental organization whose role in Nnewi is to bring about peace and development, which they have been carrying out at there own capacity. He said that the palliatives to Ndi Nnewi through Dr Cletus Madubugwu Ibeto their grand patron was to ensure that Ndi Nnewi did not feel the impact of the lockdown in the country and Anambra. He thanked God for the life of Dr Cletus Madubugwu Ibeto, whom God has been using to better the lives of Nigerians, and prayed that God will continue to strengthen him to do more for the people.

While adding his voice, Innocent Okolie(Organizer West Africa) thanked God for the life of Dr Cletus Madubugwu Ibeto (CON) for remembering that there are people in Nnewi who are not well to do. He maintained that Peace and Progressive association which is a non governmental organization is charged with the responsibility to ensure that there is peace and progress in Nnewi, which they have been doing to the best of their ability and will do more to help ensure that there is peace and progress in Nnewi.

HRH Igwe Dr K.O.N Orizu(OON) while taking delivery of the palliatives, thanked Dr Cletus Madubugwu Ibeto (CON) for coming to the rescue of his people at this hard time, occasioned by the corona virus pandemic ravaging the world. He prayed that God in his mercy will continue to bless Dr Cletus Ibeto for his magnanimity to his people, so that he continue to bless his people. He said, that if other well to do indigenes of Nnewi community will emulate the exemplary lifestyle of Dr Cletus Madubugwu Ibeto, that Ndi Nnewi will not witness the hardship being experienced by others in this trying times.

BREAKING: 2Baba Shot Dead In Rivers State

A notorious cult leader and the prime suspect in the brutal murder of the late Divisional Police Officer, SP Bako Angbashim, in the state, Gift Okpara, popularly referred to as 2Baba, has been reportedly killed in a police-led major security raid. The police and other security agencies were said to have conducted land and aerial raids at the identical hideout of the Iceland cult leader and his gang at Idu-Ekpeye in Ahoada East local government area of Rivers on Saturday, February 17. According to  The Nation , the Iceland cult leader was reportedly feared dead after the operation.   Recall that in September 2023, the late DPO was ambushed and captured by the cult group led by 2Baba in the Odiemudie community, Ahoada East LGA.   2Baba and his gang then took the DPO to the forest, where they killed him and dismembered his body. The cultists then filmed him. Another source, Obi, said he saw no less than 15 vehicles and an Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) during the operation.  

Prominent Leaders Pay Tribute to Late Sen Ifeanyi Ubah, at Anambra Community Candlelight Procession in Awka
