ADOL-PAUL HOSPITAL, UTUH OFFERS FREE MEDICAL TREATMENT

Recently, a newly established mission hospital, Adol-Paul Specialist Hospital, Utuh, Nnewi South Local Government Area of Anambra State, owned by The Redeemed Pillars of Fire Praying Ministry, Inc., has rolled out free medical treatment, where individuals suffering from one health problem or the other were diagnosed and treated free.

The free medical outreach organized on Monday, January 7, 2019, was part of activities marking the official opening of the health facility.

Our correspondent reports that over 1,000 cases of eye problems were diagnosed by optometrists, and free lenses were given to the patients. Other category of patients, who reportedly received free medicare during the outreach include those diagnosed of hepatitis A and B, elderly people with prostrate enlargement, as well as those with some other sicknesses, both communicable and noncommunicable diseases.

In his remarks during the event, the founder of the hospital, Bishop Adol-Paul Obinwaogu, said the establishment of the hospital was conceived because of the dire need to take care of the health problems of the average Nigerian, who cannot afford medical treatment overseas.

Bishop Obinwaogu, who is also the Chairman and General Overseer of the Redeemed Pillars of Fire Praying Ministry, Inc., noted that the over 1,000 bed hospital can boast of comprehensive facilities and departments that take care of varieties of health problems; including cardiology, nephrology, obstetrics and gynecology (O&G), oncology and pathology, optometry, among many others; adding that the hospital also screens and gives immunization for all diseases.

He said that the purpose of the free medical treatment as part of activities marking the official opening of the hospital was to take care of health needs of people because, according to him, ministers of God today heal the spirit without healing the flesh.

"What people do not understand is that our God is a God of the spirit and flesh. Ministers of God today heal the spirit without healing the flesh. That is why we are on this mission of healing the flesh today; just as we have been healing the spirit by the Word of God", he said.

Major highpoints of the event include introduction of the hospital's medical team, cutting of ribbon and inspection of hospital facilities, cutting of cake, among many other side attraction
