AGBOEDO NNEWI CRISIS RESOLVED; ELECTION SCHEDULED TILL DEC.13th


Hon. Federal Commissioner, Public Complaints Commission, Anambra State, Prince Samben Nwosu (KSC), finally resolved the protracted Agbo Edo Motor Spare Parts Association crises.
As at t that the prolonged crises that has scuttled the election of Agbo Edo Motor Spare Parts Association, has been resolved amicably by the Hon. Federal Commissioner.
The intervention of the ombudsman came following a letter of complaint from Ogbuehi Alphonsus Ohazulike, Chairman Board of Trustees and the Patrons of Agbo-Edo Motor Spare Parts Dealers Association, Nnewi.
Ogbuehi Ohazulike, on the letter dated 31st October, 2018, told the commission to intervene on the matter because, according to him, it has crippled the process of electing executive officers into the market Association.
It was gathered that the commission convened a case conference on the matter at the head office of the Public Complaints Commission, Awka, Anambra State, on Wednesday, 14th November, with representatives of the waring parties, the DSS and the media in attendance.
Some far reaching resolutions aimed at restoring peace to the market association were taken at the peace meeting.
Part of the resolutions is to set up a new electoral committee that will plan and conduct election into various offices of the market association on 13th December, 2018.
Members of the election committee as agree include:
1). Hon. Federal Commissioner, Public Complaints Commission (C’ttee Chairman).
2). Director or Rep of DSS, Anambra State.
3). Transition Chairman, Nnewi North LGA, Chinedu Orizu.
4).Hon. Commissioner, Trade, Commerce, Market & Wealth Creation, Anambra State.
5).Chairman, Agbo-Edo Spare Parts Dealers Association
6).Chairman, BOTs, Agbo-Edo Spare Parts Dealers Association.
7). Patrons, Agbo-Edo Spare Parts.
8). Chairman, ASMATA, Anambra State; and
9).Chairman, Nnewi Market Traders Association, Anambrara State.
The Inaugural meeting of the electoral committee was scheduled to hold on Thurs, 15th Nov., 2018, at the Nnewi North LGA, Secretariat by 3pm.

Valentine Ozigbo Resigns from Labour Party
