Beverly Hills Sports Club, Condemns Continued Detention, of Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, calls for his release.

Members of Beverly Hills Recreation club, a lawn tennis association, based in Nnewi, has in strong terms condemned the continued incarceration of their Patron, Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, the chairman of Capital Oil and Gas Industries Ltd., by the officials of the DSS, even against the directives of a Lagos High court ordering his release within 48hrs
Raising, from a protest rally staged at Beverly Hills sports club Nnewi, the group noted with sadness the continued detention of their prime minister, whom they described as a man of the people.
While addressing the press immediately after the protest, the Acting President of the association, Mr. George O. Adinnu said that the group  wish to join force, with all men and women of goodwill to ask for the unconditional release of Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah in the face of  intimidation and judicial adjudged illegal detention of Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah by DSS .
He said as a body of men, who have seen and felt the goodwill, of Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, they unite beyond ethnic and religious divides whilst  calling for justice, to prevail in Nigerian justice system.
Continuing, he stressed that for the first time in our land, in the same manner we all played down on our ethnic and primordial sentiments; just as we do when we support our football national teams in witnessing another remarkable show of unity and inter regional solidarity by Nigerians raising their voice and joining efforts to fight against  injustice', which, if left uncontained, will infest the membrane of our justice system and endanger the health of our democratic existence as Nigerians.
In the same vein, the secretary of the club, Mr. Christian Idoko, stressed that the situation has gotten to a stead of injustice, which could not with hold the justice currency further, while they join in calling for the rain of justice in a time the wind  of injustice has covered our land with disregard for Justice Muhammad Idris, ruling moved on the 25th of May 2017, which called for the release of our patron Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, within 48hrs.
The Secretary General however stressed that they have watched with awe, the unwarranted detention of Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, and called on the DSS and its privies to conform to the ordinance of the rule of law, which guarantees, justice, equity and fair play.
He asked the DSS, to obey the subsisting court order of the lagos high court, and release Ifeanyi Ubah on bail, as we are in a democratic state.
Furthermore, in a press release made available to Nigerian Notch, they said "It is public knowledge that some highly placed persons and agencies have vowed to nail Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah by all means. They have continued to pursue this agenda with rigour, without recourse to sense of justice and equity."
"These enemies of progress and Justice have not come to terms with the historic success and contributions of Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah to the nation’s building, economic growth and job creation, particularly in the sports aspect of human capital development."
"We condemn a situation where people are detained and refused bail, even at the instance of a recognized court of competent jurisdiction. The refusal of DSS to respect a court order is unconstitutional and picks holes at the foundation of our legal system"
"This act of disobedience to court orders breeds impunity, and no reasonable government will condone it.
“We wish to emphatically state that the DSS should obey, the Justice Idris of the Lagos High court order and release Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah to the court of law without further delay.
